Your eyes do not deceive you! Three players winning a pairs competition?Because of the heat, Phyllis Kynoch and Ann Dillon each teamed up with Mike Smith for two of the four matches. They won by just 1 point from both Pam Jacobs and Roy Thorpe and Thelma Swalwell and Derek Smith. The trophy was p[resented by Ladies Captain, Chris Phipps.

Despite a couple of errors by the organiser, the competition seemed to be enjoyed by all and It was good to see a number of our new members taking part.

The winning pair, Carolyn Bedo and John Hopkins, presented with the trophy by Club President, Bill Arnold.  Both Carolyn and John have won the trophy previously, albeit with different partners.
